MISSION BRIEFING
Our mission is to entertain, educate, and inspire worldwide audiences through excellence in storytelling, teaching the science, and immersing participants in the next generation of space exploration.
THE RIGHT PLACE
The top space focused attractions that aspire to this scale and level of immersion are primarily in the eastern US. Our unique 82 acre site is at the premier intersection of the California coastal tourism corridor provides unequaled views of launch activity from Vandenberg Space Force Base, within a 3 hour drive of a population base of over 13M.
STEAM POWERED LEARNING
We plan to layer STEAM learning directly into Space Base California by designing experiences that combine space science with engineering, mathematics, technology, and creative design—from interactive exhibits and rocket-launch viewings to hands-on maker-style workshops and design challenges. By blending artistic design and storytelling with rigorous STEAM content, we’ll encourage participants to think critically, solve real-world problems, and innovate—skills at the heart of a STEAM education approach. This integration will help spark curiosity, nurture creativity, and foster a long-term passion for discovery across all ages. In doing so, Space Base California becomes not just a destination for entertainment, but a dynamic learning environment where exploration and education go hand-in-hand.
THE RIGHT IDEA
Space Base California is a fresh approach in a proven industry offering an extensible brand and excellent returns on investment. In targeted, primary appeal research over 50% of the total survey respondents rated space Base California extremely appealing. Including families with children, California residents within 120 miles of Lompoc, out of state tourists, and a special group of avid fans with a devoted interest in space; over half said they would definitely visit.
